Michelle tagged me, which I actually really appreciate, because I didn't have much to blog about today. I mean, I did have my company holiday party this past weekend, but I still need to upload my pics, and then I'll post about it.
Anyway, on with the TAG!
Rules:
1. Put your iPod on shuffle.
2. For each question push the next button to get your answer.
3. You must write that song down...no matter what!
After you've answered all of the questions, tag 5 other people and then let them know they've been tagged.
If someone says "Is this OK" you say?
Got to Give it Up - Marvin Gaye
(Um...ok)

Not Even the Trees - Hootie & the Blowfish
(So I have some random songs on my iPod...)
How do you feel today?

Better Together - Jack Johnson
(WTF???)
What is your life story?
I'm Not in the Mood (To Say No)! - Shania Twain

What do you think when you see the person you like?

(I guess I'm unpredictable!)
What will you dance to at your wedding?
Hands All Over - Soundgarden
(Maybe later on the honeymoon!)
What will they play at your funeral?
Uncle Al - Kenny G
(Again...surprised that I even have this on my iPod)
What is your hobby/interest?
Greensleeves - Vince Guaraldi Trio
(I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this CD...it's one of my favorite Christmas albums...and I LOVE Christmas time/music!)
What is your biggest secret?

What do you think of your friends?
Freedom - Kenny Chesney
(Hmm...)

(Red devil?...great song!)
So pretty much all of these are totally random...EXCEPT the Jack Johnson song! Are you kidding me? Another random coincidence???
I'm not going to tag anyone...I think a ton of people have already done this...so if you want to - feel free, if not, no worries!

the last ingredient...
We had dinner last week.
It was great.
Great to see him.
Great to be near him.
Great to feel comfortable.
Great to be together again.
While we were eating this song came on.
There's no combination of words
I could put on the back of a postcard
No song that I could sing
But I can try for your heart
Our dreams, and they are made out of real things
Like a, shoebox of photographs
Of sepiatone loving
Love is the answer,
At least for most of the questions in my heart
Like why are we here? And were do we go?
And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy and
Sometimes life can be deceiving
I'll tell you one thing it's always better when we're together
Mmmm it's always better when we're together
Yeah, we'll look at the stars when we're together
Well, it's always better when we're together
Yeah, it's always better when we're together
And all of these moments
Just might find their way into my dreams tonight
But I know that they'll be gone
When the morning light sings
And brings new things
For tomorrow night you see
That they'll be gone too
Too many things I have to do
But if all of these dreams might find their way
Into my day to day scene
I'd be under the impression
I was somwhere in between
With only two
Just me and you
Not so many things we got to do
Or place we got to be
We'll sit beneath the mango tree now
It's always better when we're together
Mmmm it's always better when we're together
Well, it's always better when we're together
Yeah, it's always better when we're together
I believe in memories
They look so pretty, so pretty when I sleep
Hey now, and when I wake up,
You look so pretty sleeping next to me
But there is not enough time,
And there is no, no song I could sing
And there is no, combination of words I could say
But I will still tell you one thing
We're better together...
I believe it was a sign...

landslide
I took my love, I took it down
Climbed a mountain and I turned around
I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills
till the landslide brought me down
Oh, mirror in the sky
What is love
Can the child within my heart rise above
Can I sail through the changing ocean tides
Can I handle the season of my life
Well I've been afraid of changing
Cause I've built my life around you
But time makes you bolder
Children get older
I'm getting older too
Oh, take my love, take it down
Climb a mountain and turn around
If you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well the landslide will bring it down
If you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well maybe the landslide will bring it down

gardenia
Well I, put so much thought into getting ready
Now I know that was the best part
It's so easy to get caught up in what I'm regretting
Forget what I got from a wounded heart
I'm the one who likes gardenia
I'm the one who likes to make love on the floor
I don't want to hang up the phone yet
It's been good
Getting to know me more
I've been seeing all my old friends in the city
Walking alone in Central Park
Doing all the things that I've neglected
Traded 'em all in
To be in your arms
I'm the one who likes gardenia
I'm the one who likes to make love on the floor
I don't want to hang up the phone yet
It's been good
Getting to know me more
Well, I hear my own voice
Sounds so silly
Keep on telling my story all around
Everything I lost seem so different
Well, this is how everybody gets found

without you...
I've sure enjoyed the rain
But I'm looking forward to the sun
You have to feel the pain
When you lose the love you gave someone
I thought by now the time
Would take away these lonely tears
I hope you're doing fin all alone,
But where do I go from here
'Cause
Without you I'm not ok
And without you
I've lost my way
My hearts stuck
In second place, ooh
Without you
Well I never thought I'd be
Lying here without you by my side
It seams unreal to me that
The life you promised was a lie
You made it look so easy
Making love into memories
I guess what you got what you wanted
But what about me
'Cause
Without you I'm not ok
And without you
I've lost my way
My heart's stuck
In second place, ooh
Without you
Somebody tell my head to try and tell my heart
That I'm better off without you
'Cause baby I can't live
Without you I'm not ok
And without you
I've lost my way
My heart's stuck
In second place, ooh
Without you

leave the pieces...
You're not sure that you love me
But you're not sure enough to let me go
Baby it ain't fair you know
To just keep me hangin' round
You say you don't want to see me hurt
Don't wanna see my tears
So why are you still standing there
Just watching me drown
It's all right, yeah I'll be fine
Don't worry 'bout this heart of mine
Just take your love and hit the road
There's nothing you can say or do
You're gonna break my heart anyway
So just leave the pieces when you go
Now you can drag out the heartache
Baby you can make it quick
Really get it over with
And just let me move on
Don't concern yourself
With the mess you've left for me
I can clean it up, you see
Just as long as your gone
And it's alright, yeah I'll be fine
Don't worry 'bout this heart of mine
Just take your love and hit the road
There's nothing you can say or do
You're gonna break my heard anyway
So just leave the pieces when you go
You not making up your mind
Is killing me and wasting time
I need so much more than that
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Just leave the pieces when you go.

Gonna let him fly...
Well, I have a good reason this time for not posting.
After 5 years of living together, Jason and I are going our separate ways...living situation wise at least.
I'm not quite sure what will come of all of this, whether we will stay together, or not...I'm trying super hard to just focus on each day as it comes instead of trying to predict the future.
I have a million emotions running through my mind.
So, that's what's going on in my life...I'll try to keep things positive here, as I feel that it may keep my mind off of everything else...but I may also use my blog as a way to vent.
So thanks in advance to anyone who reads this for listening.

Theme song...
I have loved John Mayer since before he was famous. I've seen him in concert twice and the first time was at the Crocodile Cafe in Seattle...a super small venue that holds about 50 people. I even met him! Anyway...I've always loved his music, so of course when his new album Continuum came out a few weeks ago I bought it!
Now, I must say that his first album is still my favorite...but there's a song on the Continuum album there's a song called "Stop This Train". It is one of THE best songs I've ever heard. It sometimes brings tears to my eyes if I'm having an especially emotional day (which seems to be often lately).
Here are the lyrics...but you really need to listen to the song because just reading the words doesn't quite give the same feeling:
I can't take the speed that it's moving in
